3. Why we use your data, and our legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|

4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need:
| Provider | What for |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Website hosting and security |
| Web3Forms | Delivering website form messages to our email |
| Google (Google Workspace) | Sending and receiving emails |
| Zoom and Google (Google Meet) | Live online training sessions and recordings |
| Amazon Web Services (AWS) | Hosting the student area and course materials |
| Google (Google Fonts) | Loading fonts on some pages of our website (your browser sends your IP address to Google) |
| Our accountant | Accounting and tax obligations |
We may also share data with authorities when the law requires it.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). When your data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Session recordings
We only record a live session if you agree. You can say no, or ask us to stop recording, at any time — it won't affect your course. Recordings are shared only with you, and we delete them 12 months after your last session.
6. How long we keep your data
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Enquiries and roadmap call requests that don't lead to a course | 2 years |
| Records that show the training took place (session dates, assignment results, quiz results, certificates) | 7 years |
| Your assignment files and messages with your trainer | 3 years after your last course |
| Invoices and payment records | 7 years |
| Session recordings | 12 months after your last session |
| Your student account | Until you ask us to close it, or 3 years without activity |
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- delete your data, when we no longer need to keep it by law
- restrict or object to some uses of your data
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time (for example for recordings or newsletters), without affecting what was done before
Some data cannot be deleted while the law requires us to keep it (for example invoices), and data recorded on a public blockchain cannot be deleted by anyone.
To use any of these rights, email info@bitcohunters.com. We will answer within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the Lithuanian data protection authority, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija), vdai.lrv.lt — or to the authority in your own country.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
8. Cookies
Our website currently does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical cookies to keep the website secure. The student area uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your cart.
If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
9. Security
We use HTTPS encryption, secure hosting providers, and access controls so that only the people who need your data can see it. Course materials and your assignment files are available only to you (when logged in), your trainer and our administrators.
